If you are going to Queenstown, going to Gibbston Valley Vineyard is a given. We ended up staying in Arrowtown, as I thought it would be closer for an Uber...lol..... As it turned out, they have some great tours ex Queenstown, so didn't have to stay in Arrowtown........ So then the problem was getting there and back. Brayden not quite old enough to drive, we had to come up with a plan. A plan that ended up being the highlight of my entire trip, but man it was so far out of my comfort zone it wasn't funny. We had to BIKE..........
The best way to get there was to bike on the most amazing bike trails they have between Arrowtown & Gibbston Valley. To say I wasn't afraid, I would be lying, as I learnt to ride a bike in Sweden as an exchange student & haven't been on one since...... So I said, If I am going to do this, I am going on an e-bike....... Mike thought a great idea too..... as we were biking about 14km it was a must have....... OMG, it was awesome. The scenery was to die for, the trails for bikes amazing. It needs to be on everyone's bucket list......

The icing on the cake was we only went one way! We got the lovely bike people pick us up with our bikes and take us back to Arrowtown. (best $50 I ever spent!!!!!)

So we ended up in Mike and mine most favourite places, Gibbston Valley Vineyards. OMG, they did not let us down. The food, the wine, the atmosphere, was out of this world. After the most amazing lunch, we went to the cheese shop & that was dinner, as only needed a few crackers, cheese & of course another wine. Perfect day!!!!!!!
