PRESIDENTS REPORT
Hmmmm, someone has been away....... He promises next week a bumper addition, especially as Bulletin Editor is an apology due to hubby being overseas & Grandparents still swanning around Germany.
EDITORS REPORT
Am hating the school bugs that are going around at the moment, as my poor little girl picked up another one, just after being sick 2 weeks ago. In fact, she told me while we were waiting at the doctors last week, "Mummy we were here the same time 2 weeks ago........." Poor little thing, lots of blowing the nose, & with so much gunk being swallowed, causing tummy issues. So meant 2 days working from home for Mummy & then Daddy had to play Mummy for one day too, as Mummy had to do some work........ The joys of kids, but so hard to see them ill & not happy.

Thankfully back at school this week, though still not quite 100%.
NEXT WEEK - Gary Dalton
Gary will talk to us about the "Te Whangai Trust"

We are a Community-led Enterprise based on business principles to achieve Social, Environmental, Economic and Cultural aspirations.
Kinesthetic Work & Life Skills Self-assessment & Development hubs are codesigned with community partners to fit each unique multisector community needs. The hubs support communities to eradicate poverty in a way that simultaneously reduces inequality and exclusion while protecting the environment on which we all depend.
Nurture the land, give life to the people.
NO SPEAKER BUT TRIVIA NIGHT
With our speaker stuck in Dunedin, it gave us time to talk about our upcoming Trivia Night - THIS SATURDAY NIGHT.......

Can those that haven't advised numbers, please let Glynis know as she is ordering the pizza's for the evening. We need more people, so quick ring around everyone........

SET UP - At Kedgley Intermediate 12pm. Won't take long with a few extra hands. I will bring all the table decorations, but have to leave for art for Izzy, so the more hands on deck, can get this done before I have to go.

NEEDED: Chilly bins to keep drinks cold please. Water jugs too.

CLUB CHANGEOVER
Mark the date - Sunday 30th June at 1pm

We will be saying goodbye to President Steve & his committee & welcoming in President Elect Kerry & his new committee. (those that are new....lol....).

Venue - Steve & Edith Chaney's house 15 Bell Ave, Remuera.

Steve is on BBQ so meat taken care of. Club members have been asked to bring along a Pot Luck salad/Vege/dessert of some description. Do know we already have 2 desserts coming (thanks Jill & Pelu) & 1 salad (thanks Leanne) Rest will be a surprise.........

As a club we have had yet another amazing year, so lets celebrate in style. (oh yes.....BYO grog)
Handbags done......
HUGE THANKS to the "Handbag" team......... Elaine, Glynis, Jill, Suzie, Les & daughter Amy, Brett, Kerry & myself.

Over the weekend, we put together 150 bags that Elaine took in her car to give to the Woman's Refuge (she could only just get in the drivers seat, as rest of car full) Huge effort from everyone, as had to unpack all the goodies first, then got to the packing. We certainly have bags left for another handbag project.

A great Sunday afternoon had by all.
FIELD DAYS NOT JUST FOR BLOKES
I got to finally go to Field Days in the deep Waikato......... growing up on a dairy farm, you would think I would have been before, but noooooooo.

OMG. this is not just for blokes & tractors & tools....... I walked away with a set of pots.......yes, plus some cool kids Merino socks & hats ready for Xmas in the snow.

The Field Days App was incredible. You needed it to "pin" your car in the carpark, so you knew where to head back. I think they sent me to the end of the earth, but did provide buses to get you to the entrance.

So going back next year, but this time for more........not on a day I have to race back to pick the kids up from school.......
