Manukau Sunrise Rotary Club is involved with the clean up of the Puhinui Stream located behind Harvey Norman Manukau for some time now, and attend to this on a regular basis.

We were given the opportunity to help ot and plant some trees along the banks of the waterway by Beautification Trust, in conjunction with Rosie at Sustainable Business Network.

We managed to plant 1200 trees with the help of some other volunteers that have a connection to the stream.

This is a very worthwhile cause, and is making a huge difference.

We as a Club do a clean up every couple of months in the location.

If you would like to get involved in helping keep on top of this project we would love to welcome you. We are a Small but Mighty Club that get a lot of satisfaction doing things for the community.
